RESINS

Resin incense is loose incense produced from the fragrant sap of particular trees and shrubs by making an incision into the bark.  The fluid collected solidifies into 'balls' or 'tears' and is available in various grades, which depends on the time of harvesting.  The resin is then hand-sorted for quality.

These resins can be of single origin or the incense siftings can be blended together with other resins, herbs, spices, flowers, oils and incense powders to create an herbal incense. This type of incense is burned over charcoal tablets and can be used for aromatherapy, relaxation, meditation, ceremonies and spiritual practices.
